DR. KIMBERLY SILKA

Dr. Kimberly Silka

Dr. Kimberly Silka is a compassionate physician who is double board certified in critical care medicine and anesthesiology. She proudly hails from Los Angeles and received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the prestigious University of Southern California. Dr. Silka then pursued her anesthesiology residency at the University of Washington, where she gained invaluable experience caring for patients with complex trauma and cardiac issues.

With a strong desire to continue expanding her knowledge and skills, Dr. Silka stayed at the University of Washington to complete a highly regarded fellowship program in critical care medicine. During her fellowship, she had the unique opportunity to learn from and collaborate with pioneers in pulmonology, surgery, anesthesiology, and emergency medicine.

Today, Dr. Silka spends her professional time balancing between two roles: an intensivist at Northridge Hospital's intensive care unit and an anesthesiologist in the operating room. Her dual role enables her to pursue her clinical interests in trauma resuscitation and ensuring a smooth transition from the operating room to the intensive care unit.

Beyond her work, Dr. Silka maintains an active lifestyle and is an enthusiastic skier. During the off-season, she loves to travel with her family, hike, and explore the underwater world through scuba diving.
